On May 14, the animated series “Bastions” from the South Korean TV network SBS premieres. It is about a young superhero who wants to save the Earth from a villain who is destroying the environment. The series is especially interesting for K-Pop fans, because the soundtrack is sung by stars like BTS, Le sserafim, Alexa and Heize!
As early as May 14, a teaser for Bastions appeared on Youtube, featuring a snippet of a previously unreleased BTS song.
All seven members of BTS are actually involved in the song, because it was recorded before Jin’s military service!
Most recently, BTS released the album “Proof” on June 10, 2022. Since then, the members have been focusing on their solo careers. By now, five of them have released a solo album. So the new soundtrack is the first group project in almost a year! And the best part is that the boy group will even release their own soundtrack album on May 26, which you can already pre-order from us in the shop now!
BTS - THE PLANET BASTIONS (OST ALBUM)
The OST album has a lot to offer: buyers get a photo book, a photocard set (11 pcs.), a lyric book, deco stickers, Plat stickers, a BTS photo frame and a series of posters!
Not only BTS are shown in the photo book as well as on the photocards and stickers, but also the main characters of Bastions. The posters are also nicely mixed: each album contains two BTS posters, two BTS X BASTIONS posters and two more posters of other artists.
As already mentioned, other stars besides BTS are involved in the soundtrack:
On the BASTIONS Youtube channel, videos of Brave Girls, Heize, Alexa and Le sserafim were recently uploaded, in which they talk about the series and even show a short snippet of their respective soundtrack!
By the way, BASTIONS is the first project of Brave Girls since the girl group left Brave Entertainment in February. All four members have since signed a contract with Warner Music Korea and assured their fans that they will not disband. In the future, the group will no longer be called Brave Girls, but BB Girls. So BASTIONS is probably the last project in which they take part under the name Brave Girls.
Besides the artists already mentioned, Seo J, Kang Minseo and the rapper P. Cassady are also said to be featured on the soundtrack.
The OST album is a great surprise for all BTS fans who already miss the boy group dearly!
