NewJeans has broken a whole series of records with just six songs and secured a place in the playlist of countless K-Pop fans! But of course fans would love more, and they're getting it:
The girl group is currently preparing for a comeback in July!
ADOR, the label of NewJeans, announced today, according to the Korean news agency News1, that NewJeans will release an album in July. There is no exact date yet, but ADOR revealed that a pre-release single is due to come out on July 7! That's still over a month away, but we're sure the wait will be worth it. Do you think the single will be as good as Attention or Hybe Boy? Or will it even exceed our expectations?
We'll let you know as soon as you can pre-order the new album from us!
Can you believe that NewJeans will be celebrating their first anniversary in July?
With all the records and chart successes, it sometimes feels to us as if the girl group has been around for longer. Minji, Hanni and the others have shaken up the K-Pop scene and made it clear that they belong at the top! Recently, NewJeans even set a world record, reaching 1 billion streams on Spotify on March 8. No other K-Pop artist has ever done that so quickly after debuting!
On August 1, the debut album “New Jeans” was released, including the title track “Cookie”. But as early as July 22, 2022, NewJeans surprised us by releasing the music video for their first single Attention, without any announcement.
The members are also already making a name for themselves on their own:
They all have their own endorsement deals with luxury brands, and Danielle recently attracted attention when it became known that she is singing the Korean version of “Part of Your World” for the live-action film “The Little Mermaid”. Six days ago, the official music video was finally released, in which Danielle enchants us with her soft voice and her smile:
Are you ready for the comeback?
