From today, you can pre-order “28 Reasons”, Seulgi's first solo album, in our shop! That makes Seulgi the third member of Red Velvet to go solo, after Joy and Wendy!
Seulgi doesn't do things by halves and has prepared three different versions for her fans: a Photobook version, a Case version and a Special version.
The Photobook version contains, besides the CD, a mini poster, a photocard and, for pre-orders, optionally an additional poster. “28 Reasons” is released on October 5, so you should definitely order before then if you want to secure the poster!
The same goes for the Case version, because it also comes with an additional poster for pre-orders. Otherwise, buyers get a CD, a photobook, a lyrics poster, a folded poster and, of course, a photocard.
The third option is the Special version! It consists of a box held together by a sleeve with one of three possible designs. The version contains a mini CD. Attention: mini CDs cannot be played on every CD player, so it's best to check whether yours is suitable! In addition, buyers get a photobook with an incredible 304 pages! Further contents are yet to be announced, but the photobook alone is actually reason enough to get the Special version.
As with the other versions, a poster is optionally included here too for pre-orders.
Have you already seen the album trailer that was uploaded to Red Velvet's YouTube channel yesterday? If not, you should catch up on it now:
The dramatic trailer is only the first teaser and we are already totally convinced by the album!
After eight years on stage, Seulgi is finally daring to make her solo debut!

This solo debut is not just her second or third, but actually the singer's fourth debut! Seulgi is not only active in Red Velvet, after all. In 2020, she founded Red Velvet's first sub-unit together with Irene, and in January of this year she also debuted in the supergroup “Got the Beat” by SM Entertainment. (The project group brings together members from all active SM girl groups, and besides Seulgi, Red Velvet's Wendy is also one of the members.)
We wish Seulgi lots of success on her next step!
