Haerin (강해린) is a South Korean singer and member of the popular girl group NewJeans. She was born on May 15, 2006 in Seoul, South Korea and grew up with her parents and a sister who is three years younger. Haerin showed a passion for music from a young age. She attended Seoul Boramae Elementary School before transferring to Kwiin Elementary School. She later attended Pyeongchon Middle School, but decided to drop out in 2020 to pursue her dream of becoming a singer. However, she did not let this stop her from continuing her education. She worked hard to pass the exams and officially graduated from school in 2023.
Haerin's journey to becoming an idol began when she joined Source Music as a trainee in early 2020. After years of hard work and dedication, she debuted NewJeans under the ADOR label on July 22, 2022. The group quickly became known for their fresh style and catchy songs.
