BIOGRAPHY

Jungwoon (정원)) was born on February 19, 2004 in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, South Korea. He went to Namgang High School. His life as a trainee began in January 2017. One year and four months later, on June 2, 2020, Jungwon was announced as a contestant on CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment's reality survival show I-LAND. On September 18, 2020, he came first in the global vote and became a member of the boy band ENHYPEN.

He made his debut as the leader of ENHYPEN on November 3 with the release of their first mini album “Border: Day One”. The group consists of seven members: Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

As the leader of the group "Enhypen", Jungwon and his members have conquered the hearts of fans. They always impress with their powerful dance performances. Since their debut, ENHYPEN have released several successful albums and singles that reached high chart positions in various countries. The group is known for their eclectic music that combines elements of pop, hip-hop and R&B, as well as their deep concepts and narratives expressed in their music videos and performances. Below we have summarized the most important achievements for you.

Enhypen won their first award in their debut year of 2020: The "Next Leader Award" at The Fact Music Awards.
With their first album "Dimension: Dilemma" they achieved diamond status in Korea in 2021 and sold over a million copies.
In 2022 they started their first world tour "Manifesto" with a total of 21 concerts.
They then released their fourth mini album "Dark Blood". On May 23, it reached #1 on the iTunes Album Top Charts in 30 countries.
